Alvarez Law Office is proud to offer a scholarship to one commendable college or law school student located in Indiana or Illinois, who can author an award winning essay for our scholarship contest.
Students who enter our contest will need to put together a well written and well thought out essay on the following topic: “Laws to Increase Safety on the Road,” which we explain in further detail below.
Our goal as personal injury attorneys at Alvarez Law is to not only bring awareness to important issues such as finding ways to improve safety on the road, but to also support the goals and dreams of students wishing to do the same.

The award winning student will receive a scholarship worth: $1500
Scholarship Winners
The winner of our essay contest with be rewarded with a check from Alvarez Law Office. These funds must be used to pay for your school-related expenses or used towards your school tuition. The check will be made out to the school you are currently attending classes in.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a scholarship in our essay contest, you must:
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Be a current college or law school student
- Reside in Indiana or Illinois
Additionally, you must:
- Verify that you have carefully read and fully understand the Scholarship Contest Rules that were provided by Alvarez Law Office
- Provide a student I.D. card proving enrollment
- Submit a digital photo (.jpg) of yourself

Your essay should be roughly 1,000 words in length.

Selection Process

Essays will be read by attorneys at Alvarez Law Office and judged on support and development of ideas, clarity and style proper utilization of grammar (including punctuation, spelling, subject and verb usage) and effectiveness of your argument.
Judges will select the top essay based on the above criteria.
